Yo-Yo Ma in Concert Thursday
This Thursday evening, the world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma performs in concert with the Austin Symphony at Dell Hall in the new Long Center for the Performing Arts. This gala concert celebrates the ASO’s inaugural season in the Long Center, and is heralded as “the classical music event of the year” by KMFA Classical 89.5 FM.
Unfortunately, the event is sold out! So, unless you want to take a chance on snatching up a last-minute vacant seat at the door, your best bet is to enjoy the concert online or on the radio (KMFA 89.5 FM). When it comes to engaging the culture through classical music, this is about as engaging as it gets. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m. Enjoy!
